An intersting example of an Iris Neavus. Usually at 6 oclock, this one is at 11 and has a spherical component that extends into the pupil area - rather like a skin "tag". It is stable and has not extended for some considerable time.

I am curious as to what has caused this condition? Could it be that the eye was unprotected from uv rays?
I know that it is important to have quality sunglasses to protect your eyes from damage or injury. I prefer Randolph Aviator Sunglasses which have kept my pilot's eyes safe for many years!
